We have to learn not to tolerate it when
adults, teens, or children have prejudices against others. When we get
involved, speak out loudly, and take a stand setting a good example then we
can change things.
When we choose not to
close our eyes to others being harassed, bullied, threatened, picked on or even physically
or verbally abused as well as oppressed whether in their personal lives or
business/professional lives and take a stand against these actions then we are moving in
the right step. When we vote for elected officials who are willing to work for the people
and make changes in laws, enforcing laws as well as set examples in their lives, then we
are one step closer. When we set examples for our children in schools at every age, then
that is 4 steps closer.
When we ask
that our law enforcement, police, FBI, military and such be tested and evaluated for
prejudices, hates, racial problems, sexual orientation prejudices, and so on, then this is
another 4 steps forward. When we put a stop to harassment in all forms including bulling,
group harassment, bulling whether adult, teen or child, stalking, verbal, emotional,
psychically, psychologically, and physically, as well as domestic violence then we stop
prejudice and hate here too moving 10 steps forward.
When we as adults, teens and children see it going on and report
it, and our words and actions are taken seriously making changes in people and behaviors
of no tolerance for hate, prejudice, bulling, verbal or physical abuse and the law,
judicial system enforces action against those who act in the way that uses prejudices,
oppression, bulling, harassment, physical abuse or verbal as guidelines to enforce action
against those who use it, then our world will change.
You see the changes that are occurring with the school shootings,
with teen suicide rate up, these are signs that we are not seeing and are ignoring that
our children are crying out for us to do something against intolerance of others beliefs,
race, religion, and so on.
Throughout my life time because I was different I have had to
deal with oppression, verbal abuse & physical, prejudices, bulling, harassment and so
on not only in my personal life, but my professional and business life because I am
different. People see you as being different as a threat to what they know or the way they
were raised, and in many cases were raised not to tolerate difference regardless of what
they were because we were told not to or examples were shown to us in role models not to.
Not to tolerate someone because they are
different in some manner, have different beliefs, religion or color of skin, and even
sexual orientation and to bully, harass, oppress or abuse them is what should not be
tolerated or accepted. We should fight against every action of it with every breath we
take, because we are fighting for our own individualism and rights as light beings. No one
person, adult, teen or child is the same and it is that uniqueness that makes us special.
I personally don't want to be like everyone else.
I am special as each and everyone of you are. Each one of us is special and has special
uniqueness that makes us the person, adult, teen or child we are. When we are not allowed
to be that special person, then we are hurting each and everyone of ourselves, because we
are forcibly repressing the God/Goddess/Universal being in each one of us. We are saying
you are not good enough. Your beliefs, your looks, your income, your work, etc. is
different then mine, so you are lower then me and I am better then you. This is not so.
We are all made in the image of God/Goddesses/Universal Creation.
When we oppress, harass, bully, verbal or physically abuse others because they are
different in some manner, we are saying that we don't think much of our own self. We don't
respect ourselves, but most of all we don't love ourselves. If we can't see the
God/Goddess/Universal Creator and Being in each one of ourselves and the souls that make
us special, then we will never advance to the higher levels, or reach peace.
This is just what they want to keep us in chaos, not in
love, peace or unity and it is up to each one of us to say
This is why I fight against hate and prejudices because I have
been there. It is bad enough as an adult to have to deal with this, not alone a child or
teen. What are we doing to each other. Hate and prejudice is so vindictive, so hurtful not
only to others around us, but our own very being.
I have been called gay or lesbian or an issue made
out of it, when I am not and choose my male sexual partners with caution and with the the
feelings of emotional love, attraction and guidance from God, but I respect their
differences and choices of others. I have been oppressed because I am different and walk
the path of light, but I respect their differences. I have been oppressed because I refuse
to walk the path of corruption. I have been oppressed because I refuse to walk all over
everyone else. I have been...... it goes on and on. This is what hate and prejudice
is, it is because I am different, because you are different, because he or she is
different. And because we can not tolerate someone that is different we are given the
right morally and legally to harass, oppress, attack, bully and so on.... because we
have little respect for everyone else proves that we have very little respect or love for
ourselves.
You will find those that are fighting prejudices and hate out
there doing something, trying to make a difference and change things shouting to the world
and our elected officials/judicial system, enforcement systems, military, schools, adults
children and teens that we need change now. We need to accept others, respect them
and not tolerate prejudices or hate, standing up against it and those who use it
telling them to get out that they are the ones we will not tolerate any longer!
