I met a little old man today
One very down at heel
Upon whose face the ravages of time
Had placed their mark with care-worn seal
Yet, as I beheld this soul,
I sensed a light within -
A certain brightness in the eyes
That told me he was a kindly one
And entirely free of sin
He then went on his apparent way
And I mused upon our meeting ,
Do you think this may have been an angel
Whom I had been unknowingly a greeting?
Yes! - the truth of what I had seen dawned upon my soul
For this was surely a Heavenly angel
Who had been sent to test my Earthly role
I'm pleased to say I did quite well
For I showed him only love
So, take care how you treat every stranger today
For they may well be a visitor from Above!

ANGEL FLOATING BEFORE ME ©

You’re an angel floating before me a love sent from heaven
above the beauty of the sun in the morning dawn the
grace and beauty of a swan.
An indescribable love looking in your eyes touching me
touching the sky the beauty of my skin against
your thigh walking hand in hand by and by wrapping me in
warmth and comfort swallowing me leaving me limp
in your arms with a sigh.
Heartache and pain and dark clouds disappear life seems so
crystal clear when your near love dashing all
fear changing loneliness into cheer leaving me with a
happiness tear.
Holding you in my arms like a rainbow vision a refreshing
rain on a hot day my afternoon delight the
freshness of the sea your an angel floating before me.

I stood in awe of the miracle
That brought me to this place;
Knowing the feel of an angel,
Admiring the light of her face.

I felt the presence of inspiration
Filling each corner of the room;
As I felt the soul of you within,
As my heart began to bloom.

I knew in an instant I'd never forget
The blessing of each day;
Believing again in the miracles
Of you chasing the darkness away.

Too often within the lives we lead
We let chances slip away;
To tell someone they've touched our hearts
and brought happiness our way.

I refuse to ever let that happen,
These words I speak are true;
My life has been touched by an angel
By feeling the heart in you.
Within my soul I've always believed
And my mind has always known;
That angles were truly messengers
Of love from God to be shown.

And now I known that I was right,
I'm convinced of this for sure;
I've been blessed by the presence of Heaven,
Surrounded by your heart so pure.

Don't ever let anyone tell you
That Heaven is far away;
I see it deep inside of you,
And you're in my heart to stay.

The Things That Angels Do©

When you're behind the wheel of your car,
Sometimes your angel drives;
Ready to take the steering wheel,
This way they've saved so many lives.

When it's dark and there is danger,
Your Angel will always know;
They'll be ready to cloak you with their love,
Your peril to you will never show.

When your heart feel sad or empty,
They are ready to do God's will;
More then ready and able to help you,
As will love those aches they fill.

When you're surrounded by the darkness,
When you life is black as night;
They will hold your hand to guide you
As you move back to their light.

Sometimes you've even seen them,
You may have never even known;
Yet a part of you believed it,
When their heart to you was shown.

They've always been a part of you,
Whenever you have gone;
They watch you while your sleeping,
At your side from dusk to dawn.

They guide you through your daily tasks,
They will teach you to be kind;
Guarding your lips before you speak
From your heart, not just your mind.

These are just a few of the things
That the loving angels do;
Don't ever lose sight of their willingness,
They will always take good care of you.

My Morning Angel©

Thank you, Morning Angel,
No longer shall I roam;
I praise you now for showing me
The path that leads me home.

I love the way you touched my heart,
How you caused the sun to rise;
Filling my heart and soul with love
With your gold and silver eyes.

You were there before I knew it,
Since the moment of my birth;
Preparing me to grow with love
As I move upon this earth.

You showed me how to care so much,
I have so much to learn;
How do I ever repay your love,
I feel it is your turn.

Guide me as through life I go,
Show me the paths to walk;
Help me to pay attention,
To listen when you talk.

AS this morning sun comes up,
Before a breath I've taken;
Let me keep my eyes on you,
As to my heart I now awaken.

You have always been the one
To guide me through each day;
I know that as this day continues,
You're in my soul in every way.

The Operation©

The man was lying on the ground
Wonder what was to pass;
His mind was full of many thoughts,
As he lay there in the grass.

The Lord was standing in front of him,
The air possessed a chill;
He was warned he should not move at all,
He was to lie very still.

Instantly his chest came open,
God ripped in half his heart;
The man could not believe his eyes
As the organ came apart.

The man screamed out in agony,
His body writhed in pain
He thought that he was dead for sure,
That he'd been truly slain.

Then a wonderful miracle occurred,
It was truly a great surprise;
Two hears were placed in separate chests,
Right before his very eyes.

God said,"there is a reason why
The pain you felt was great;
It's because this woman I made for you
Is your true eternal mate.

Forever, until the end of time,
As each life you live, you'll share;
The very same heart and mind and soul,
Only for each other you shall care.

The man looked deeply in her eyes,
He was awesomely amazed;
She was truly the other half of him,
As within his soul he gazed.

Now through each life they live he knows
That what God said was true;
He never forgot he lives for her...
And how glad he is it's you.
